Windows 11 Microsoft Store app, numerous shortcuts and Windows apps have vanished (Windows 11)

At some point recently, a bunch of stuff has disappeared from my PC. Among them: Mail app on the Start bar, Windows Media Player (only choice now is Windows Media Player Legacy), Microsoft Store, Snipping Tool. I can use the Print Screen key to get the basic screen capture, but the Win-Shift-S doesn't work and if I search for Snipping Tool, it doesn't show up. Opening video files uses WMP Legacy, and Open With doesn't show the new WMP, nor does Search. Microsoft Store app is nowhere to be found, and again, does not show up in Search.
