Windows 11 Microsoft Windows on my son's PC does not recognize his email/account but xBox does when he logs in.

My son is trying to switch login emails to a new alias (his preferred personal e-mail address that has all of his Minecraft "stuff" vs. using my account). When logs in on his xBox to play minecraft it works fine and he can log in and play under his new account. However, when he tries to log into Windows on his PC to play Minecraft there, the Windows login does not recognize his email as an account. In addition, I am unable to control is screen time via Family Safety because right now his PC is not logged into any account. This is the bigger issue for me right now as he has trouble controlling
