Windows 11 Microsoft Works 6.0 runs on windows 10 laptop but crashes on new windows 11 desktop. Event Viewer show crash due to winmmbase.dll.

Microsoft Works 6.0 runs on windows 10 laptop but crashes on new windows 11 desktop. Event Viewer show crash due to winmmbase.dll.I only use the calendar but as far as i know the data won't transfer to a newer app. My wife doesn't like to upgrade to new versions when she is used to using a program for years.Do I have to downgrade the new desktop to windows 10 to keep using the works 6.0 calendar.
