Windows 10 Minecraft Education Edition constantly crashing on W10 after latest update

I work as a remote educator, and we use the MC Education as our main tool to teach kids.The game has worked okay the past 3 years... up until this Tuesday, when I launched the game and tried to set up our old game world.The game seems to crash after ~60 seconds, give or take, no matter what I do.Does not matter if I'm sitting in the main menu, playing a new world in Solo, or hosting a world.
