Windows 10 Minecraft Java Edition not recognized in my microsoft account

Hello Microsoft, I bought Minecraft Java edition a year ago via a redeem code from eneba. I linked my Mojang profile to my microsoft account at the time and redeemed the code. Not a problem playing in windows 7 as I could download the installer from the Minecraft website. To this day I still have that edition available on my account on the Minecraft website. Recently I changed my OS to Windows 10, but when I download and run the installer it tells me to sign in my Microsoft account in the Microsoft Store.
