Windows 11 Monitor randomly goes blank/black and then turns back on where it left off, despite laptop

Hello everyone, My monitor suddenly goes blank randomly and then like after 3 seconds goes back on again while laptop remains on. Happens quite frequently. Troubleshooting steps already taken:- updated driver, Dell XPS 9315 System BIOS- tested if faulty adaptor that connects my dell to monitor. Not the case as my other laptop that is not Dell works perfectly fine with that monitor,hdmi cord and adaptor and the monitor never randomly goes blank!-monitor driver all up to date. I'm out of ideas. Anyone able to provide some help what I can do to prevent this? Many thanks,Lucas

Windows 10 When I tried a hard reset on my desktop pc it took to long so I turned it off and now when turning it on the monitor screen goes on and then shuts off
