I am a novice IT person who is trying to help out my boss with the new HP desktop they just purchased. It came with a wireless HP mouse and keyboard combo. I have everything installed and everything is working great except after about an hour of being idle the computer freezes and the mouse nor the keyboard will wake it up. I have to do a hard reset on the tower to get it unlocked. I have turned off Power saving mode so I know that's not the issue. I even plugged in a wired mouse and keyboard and that does not wake it up out of the frozen mode either. I have Googled and research and can't figure out how to fix this . I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver for the mouse and keyboard and that hasn't helped. I restarted in safe mode and it does not freeze in safe mode. I have done system cleanings like I've seen on the forums before, but none of this is helping. I just did a system restore but I am not hopeful that will work either. Can somebody please give me some advice?
