Windows 7 mouse and keyboard freezing

sometimes my keyboard and mouse keeps freezing for a few seconds, its annoying, and sometimes when i type something it spams the key"examppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppple"can someone help me?
