Windows 10 Mouse buttons keep changing to left-handed when starting W10.

For the past month or so the mouse buttons are configured for left-handed (i.e. right button is primary) when starting W10. Drivers are apparently the latest version. It seems to be happening on a laptop and a PC that had new software (RootsMagic 9) loaded recently. I have subsequently removed the software but the problem still exists. Is there a registry entry that may have changed such as mouse default settings?
