Windows 10 MS Defender status info disappears during a full scan?

ISSUE 1Twice a full scan in MS Defender was initiated, and each time the status info disappeared. After going back a page, and then clicking on “Open Windows Security” and then “Virus & Threat Protection,” sure enough the scan status info was still not visible. Task Manager seemingly indicated the scan was still underway. Please note that the estimated remaining time was important missing datum. Please see screen snips.
