I am experiencing an issue where the process MsMpEng.exe, which is part of Windows Defender, is writing an abnormally high amount of data to my SSD. Despite having disabled Windows Defender through Group Policy (GPO), this process continues to generate excessive disk activity, which could potentially reduce the lifespan of my SSD and affect overall system performance.GPO:
