Multiple BSOD
Would really appreciate any help that I'll get here. I'm going crazy already.
So I had my first pc built on the first week of December. As a person who's not a tech savvy, I hired someone who'll assemble my pc.
So everything went smoothly for the first week until I had a BSOD, cannot really remember what was the stop code since it was too fast for me to take a picture and the computer already restarted.
I thought it might something to do with multiple applications running but the bsod kept happening more often after that, especially when the pc is on an idle state.
I started taking notes of the stop codes since the guy couldn't visit immediately because of the sudden lockdown ordinance imposed in our area again.
It would often give me the stop code APC INDEX MISTACH and IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL. Other issues that I have was having a high cpu usage (peaking to 90% and throttling between 30-40 when idle) even on startup. Culprit was 'System Interrupts' and the only thing that
solved it was to reset the pc.
Here are the things that I did already:
Reseated the ram. Its inserted on the 2nd and 4th slot so I tried the 1st and 3rd, my monitor just gives me "No signal", its supposed to boot, right? 1st and 2nd slot works, but still gives me BSOD. I also tried
only using 1 stick but still bsod.
Memory Diag - There were no errors found and I double checked as well on the Event Viewer.
Chckdsk - No bad sectors found. Did this four times.
Updated Drivers - My BIOS Version is updated as well, afaik, based on ASRCOK website.
Running Compatibility Troubleshooter - so good so far.
Reinstalling OS/Reset PC - Tried to reset pc to see if that will fix the issue. Nope. Now I tried experimenting by reinstalling OS with a bootable drive to the SSD with my 2 HDDs connected, however, halfway it gave me a bsod.
What I did next is to reinstall it to the HDD 1, without the SSD and HDD 2 connected. I was able to finish the process however at the the startup, still BSOD. So I tried again to reinstall the OS to the HDD 2, without the SSD and HDD 1 connected,
still BSOD. So I reverted to having my OS installed in my SSD without the 2 HDDs connected. Still BSOD. So I guess, that crosses out my SSD and HDD as faulty cause it still giving me bsod regardless where I put my OS, right?
Other things that I noticed was my browser started flickering. This issue never occurs to any software, just my Microsoft Edge browser. I made sure that my display port is properly connected as well as my psu connector.
The only solution that worked for me is to run Cyberpunk in the background in order for me to play other games like League of Legends or Valorant. I can run cyberpunk for 4 hrs + without BSOD. I dont want to do this forever as it's affecting the other games fps.
I downloaded BlueScreenView to check the drivers causing these bsod and the most common is a driver called "ntoskrnl.exe".
Im not overclocking by the way. I made sure I updated windows immediately after resetting the pc/reinstalling the OS.
I've read multiple similar threads about this and they say that it's very common to have a faulty ram. So I bought a new one today. And voila, bsod. Gave me;
APC INDEX MISMATCH, SYSTEM
SERVICE EXCEPTION [win32kbase.sys]
DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL [amdpmm.sys]
SECURITY CHECK FAILURE
So it's not the ram, right?
Please help me. I dont know what to do.
I have my full spec by AidaReport here: Aida Report.txt
Minidump [I was only able to zip 3 minidumps as the other 2 are couldnt be zipped, Im not sure why]: dmp2.rar
BlueScreenView Dump Files: Dumpfiles2021.txt
PS. Just had a recent crash. Stop code is DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION, caused by driver ntoskrl.exe
My previous ram was CRUCIAL BALLISTIX 8X2 3200MHZ
Im using Gskill 8X2 3200MHZ as well but I only have one stick inserted. I was testing if it would still give me bsod. Still yes. I havent inserted the second one since I'm busy atm.
Any help will be appreciated. I'm at my wits end already, I dont know what to do.
Is it the drivers? The mobo? The cpu?
