Windows 10 My C: drive is suddenly almost full and I don't know how this happened

I was notified today that my C: drive only had about 3GB of space left! After doing a lot of cleanup using Microsoft's disk cleanup I was able to clear to 9GB of space, but I still don't know how I've apparently used up over 150GB when all I've downloaded were Steam and two games ( the sims and planet zoo - shouldn't be more than 20GB each?) I downloaded treesize to see if there are any large files I can delete, but I don't really know which files are okay to delete. What should I do?
