Windows 10 My computer will skip/freeze every like 45 minutes. It only last like 3 seconds, but it is annoying. . .

The computer will skip for about 3 seconds then return me to the original game with no problems. It wont let me move the mouse or nothing until the end of the 3 seconds. It usually happens when I am playing video games so that is why it is annoying, but I don't know what can be causing it. I'll post my computer specs here in a second, but I really don't think its any of my hardware. I've updated all my drivers, but that didn't seem to help. Anyone else ever encounter the same problem or know what to do about it?
