Windows 11 My cursor only shows on some pages & not on others. How do I get the cursor to show all the time please?

I can't even cut & paste from the question to here as I can't highlight the text, not even with touch screen!I have a new Lenovo Yoga & have followed all the recommendations to show cursor but it still only shows on some pages. It's only showing while I'm typing here but as soon as I try to move, there's nothing. (not actually the usual cursor sign, only a straight line where I'm about to type. When trying to move the cursor, items will highlight when the cursor apparently moves over them but this is very frustrating.If i move my cursor to the bar below, the cursor shows immediately!Pl
