Windows 11 My Dell XPS 15 laptop was running on 0% for a while and now the brightness is barely visible. What should I do?

My laptop’s battery is really bad and only lasts me around 2-3 hours until it hits 0%. Usually it still runs on 0% and I continue to use it through the rest of the day because I have school. Today however, it was running on 0% as usual and I had to close my laptop for something but when I opened it back up 5 minutes later, the screen was barely visible. I got home and charged it but the screen isn’t changing back to its normal state.What should I do?
