Windows 8 My Internet Keeps Cutting out Every so Often

Every so often on my home computer the internet randomly cuts out, stating on whatever site I'm on that I am offline. This was a minor inconvenience at first but now it does it a lot more, proving it very hard to stay on one site until it freezes, states that it is offline, and tries reloading itself. I've double checked my wifi and network connection, and they are all working fine. I ran a diagnostic and it couldn't find the source of the issue. If anyone knows what I should do to stop this problem, or at least a way to minimize it, feel free to let me know.
