I have a new laptop with Windows 11. The power supply is via USB-C port. When using the laptop with a projector for a presentation, I noted that the laptop (and then the projector) would go into sleep mode within 30 seconds when I wasn't typing or clicking anything. The same problem happened with an external monitor in my office. In both cases, the laptop was connected to a power supply. I set the laptop's sleep mode settings to "never," but the problem persists. When I disconnected the power supply, the laptop stopped going into sleep mode.
