Windows 10 My laptop locks whenever I plug in!

Whenever I plug in my laptop adapter the screen would go off immediately on turning on the power. It has been for about a few months. I used to think earlier that it goes to sleep on plugging in, but one day when I plugged in while booting, it showed "locking"(The same place where it shows "please wait"). Can someone help me?
