Windows 10 My Lenovo 110 indicated it was 'compatible' with Windows 11, it isn't

It has been trying to load for months and there is simply not enough drive space (after moving all data to an outboard drive, it is still looking for 3 gig plus). I ama content in 10 but how do I cancel the 'upgrade' attempts?
