I own a Logitech c270. Today, when i opened Skype to start a video call, I was greeted by a completely black screen. The person on the other end could hear my voice and I could hear and see that person as well. The green light indicator on the webcam also glowed but the person on the other end could see only a black screen and not me.
I also opened the Windows Camera app and the same problem persisted, When I recorded a video and played it, I could hear the sounds that I had made while recording the video but there was no picture; only a black screen.
I reinstalled the webcam drivers several times, restarted my PC several times and even connected the webcam to a number of USB ports, but to no avail. As I was searching the internet, i came across various articles that said that the Windows Anniversary update was responsible for this problem.
If this is true, is there any way to solve it ? [As I don't even know if have Windows Anniversary update installed in my PC]
