Windows 10 my old laptop died i was given a macbook pro 2012 and installed my windows 10 on it, but it will not activate what can i do

i need to know how to activate my windows 10 on my new(old ) laptop. i had an old laptop that died. i was given a macbook pro from 2012 that could no longer be updated. so i riped out the old os and loaded my windows 10. but i can not get it to activate, what can i do
