Windows 10 My previous microsoft account was hacked, will they have access to my pc files?

My previous microsoft account was hacked, Im still trying to recover it but to no avail I havent recieved a response yet.So I created a new account but I am curious if they had access to my files such as my local hard disks and external drives that are connected to it.
