Windows 11 My scroll wheel keeps controlling my volume and pressing my wheel makes it pause what is playing in the background

My two keys at the side of my mouse(a gaming mouse) used to control the go back and go forward options. Now it's not doing that like it used to do. I tried unplugging and replugging the mouse but it did not work. My mouse does not seem to have a DPI button, and it has been replaced by a plus and minus key. (maybe it is a fake) But the fact is, it used to work until recently. (My mouse had fallen and was dangling and all). Oh, and it randomly mutes by itself too. Usually when I press the scroll wheel, I used to be able to use the auto-scroll option but now it just pauses whatever is playing. Wh
