Windows 11 My touchpad is not listed on device manager. I want to disable it. Help!

I have an HP Envy laptop (2018), running Windows 11. I use a mouse. Until today, my touch pad was disabled, but for some reason, today it came back to life. I cannot disable it, as I cannot find any reference to it on Device Manager. I uninstalled Synaptics SMBus ClickPad, thinking that doing so would make the touchpad stop working, but that did not help. Before I uninstalled this, "Touchpad" was listed in Setting under "Bluetooth and Devices," but there was no way to disable it. After I uninstalled, it isn't listed at all! Help!
