Windows 10 My Windows 10 is locking up opening a Word file in Office 2010.

It says at the bottom of the opening page it's running a virus scan. The file opens fine on a laptop. Just locks up and task manager doesn't stop Word, if it opens. If it opens it shows Word as suspended. First time I ever saw this. The computer then won't do anything else and I have to power it down and back on. I know enough about fixing this sort of thing to be very dangerous. My computer guy is dodging me because he did a camera system and I paid him, but he hasn't finished it up yet. This file also has a PW.
