Windows 10 Network Adapter

Hi, my laptop has Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 Wireless Network Adapter. According to Command prompt my laptop shows: Radio types supported : 802.11b 802.11a 802.11g 802.11n 802.11ac. Therefore my pc supports 5ghz and in device manage network adapter properties i selected Preferred Band 5ghz but still it doesn't connect to 5ghz...My other devices connect to it...My router has no problems. Please help.
