Hello, this is my first time here. I was running Windows 8.1 on my PC (an outdated XPS 8700) and I recently decided to reinstall windows in order to wipe my computer and start off on a clean slate. However, as I finished reinstalling windows, I ran into many problems. For one, when I reinstalled windows, I was put back into the Windows 8, seemingly the first version of Windows 8 because I had to later install 135 updates on my computer.
