Windows 10 New MS Teams in a Citrix VDI enviornment is prompting to update and restart. How can I either disable or hide this notification?

We have a citrix non persistent vdi environment. I've downloaded the new ms teams on our base vdi image and deployed to all users using citrix pvs. When a user launches MS Teams it shows a notifcation at the top right hand side that there is an update and restart available. We don't want teams to update nor tell the user to do so. Is there a gpo or teams admin center policy to disable/hide this?
