Windows 11 New Windows 11 Update to HP Laptop: Can not shutdown, hibernate or sleep - wakes up within short time

I have a 2 year old HP Envy Laptop with 2TB SSD. It came with Windows 10 and has been flawless. For some reason Microsoft FORCED me to update to Windows 11 2 weeks ago. I avoided the update as long as I can but eventually I did the "UPDATE and RESTART".Now, anytime I try to SHUTDOWN, HIBERNATE or SLEEP, within 30 seconds the computer boots up again. Essentially, every shutdown command appears to be treated as RESTART.I have scoured the internet and performed nearly all the recommended "fixes" except for a computer RESET, but with my 2 TB SSD drive about 3/4 fill I can't afford to lose the da

Windows 11 Windows 11 will not shut down or sleep through OS, or closing the lid. Only a Hard Shutdown will turn off the computer.
