So after performing a hibernate, sometimes my internet just doesnt connect at all. This is like a 50/50 chance and I'm connected via ethernet. I have other devices connected via ethernet and theyre working.
I tried everything from changing the DNS servers, to uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, uninstalling the ethernet via Device Manager, flushing the DNS, reinstalling Windows 10. Literally everything I could find on the internet except for factory resetting my entire SSD.
I even bought a wifi adapater which connected via one of my PCIe ports. However when the ethernet is not detecting the internet after a hibernate, I switch to the wifi adapter only to run into the exact same issue.
The only solution I could find was to do a Network Reset. However this restarts the whole computer which is extremely annoying if I have a lot of work left and I want to rest for the night, or if I have tons of tabs open (Which is common as I'm writing a thesis)
How do I do a permanent fix to this??
