Windows 11 no sound via HDMI connection to TV for viewing/listening on larger screen

I have an HDMI cable from my PC to my TV. Using the TV's input toggles, I can easily view whatever is playing. Once upon a time, you blessed us with an "upgrade," and I lost the ability to receive the audio component through the HDMI cable. Though we still get a great picture, it is an inconvenience to have to rely on the computer's speakers for the sound element. (Yes, I go to "Settings" then to "Sound" and "add a device."
