Windows 11 no supported disc burners found

hi, im trying to burn a cd for the first time and it says there are no disc burners found in itunes or windows media player legacy, but it shows in my 'This PC' part of file explorer. the drive i bought says it should be able to burn cds so i have no idea what the problem is :( helpppp
