Windows 11 Not able to login to the system after changing the Registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE local Policies and Local User not showing up on login screen

Hi, I have purchased a new Lenovo Thinkpad for one of our team members. Accordingly a local user was created by the Admin user (myself). However, at login time, this user was not getting listed (and instead only an "Other user" option was available besides the Admin user.) To address this, while browsing through possible solutions in online forums, I came across instructions, which edited the Policies for Windows through Registry edit to change the value of a parameter for 'dontdisplaylastusername" to "1" (from the previous default of "0").
