Windows 11 Not able to update windows 11 and cannot revert back to the old version. Also not able to search in the windows bar.

Trying to update to windows 11 version KB5040442. Everytime I try to update it, it says something went wrong and also while trying to repair the windows it says that the system doesnt meet the requirements. The system is a Dell XPS 15 9500.
