Windows 10 Pasting and using new Edge user-friendly URL format not working in OneNote

There is a new feature in Edge that displays a more user-friendly link when you copy a URL and paste it into a document, but it seems to have some problems when pasted into OneNote for Windows. For example, there is a Microsoft Documents page about C# with the following real URL:




When captured in Edge and pasted in OneNote, for example, it appears as follows:

However, if you try to get to that site by clicking that link in OneNote, you get the following message:





Note that this feature does work in Word, but not in OneNote
