Hello, on March 17, 2:30 pm I started a PC reset. I choose to completely wipe both of my hard drives, 2TB hdd and 128 GB ssd (I chose the option that was most secure). I did this because I believed there was a virus that had infected my computer that I could not find. I kept getting malware that I had removed redownloaded on my computer and at specific times during the day would lose partial control over my mouse cursor. The reset was stuck on 10% for about 4 hours so I figured that 99% might be the same or longer. I let it run all night and it has been stuck on 99% for over 14 hours now. Can a virus prevent my drives from completely being wiped and that's why its stuck or could it be another issue? Should I keep waiting or give up? If I power down will my other parts be damaged? It should probably be noted that I originally had windows 7 on my computer and upgraded to windows 10. I no longer have the disk or another means to boot from at the moment.
