Windows 10 PC will not wake from sleep mode with mouse or keyboard

Windows 10 64bit os , HP Elite Desk computer. Until recently everything worked as it should. After the last update, when the computer enters Sleep mode, either automatically (original settings) or I put it in sleep mode, neither the mouse nor the keyboard will wake it. I have already applied all the solutions in Microsoft help. Mouse is Microsoft trackball Optical 1.0 ps2 wired, latest driver installed. Keyboard is Logitech K120 wired which does not need a driver update (as per Logitech website). The only thing that will wake the computer from sleep is pressing the power button. The keyboard
