Hello Community,
I have recently re-installed Windows 10 from scratch, using version 1809 as a Hyper-V role. One of the programs I install is Hyperoo which is used in a backup capacity for my Hyper-V instances.
In doing this, I have been getting threats found like the following:
These look pretty bad, but these are on transient files that soon disappear anyways.
In the past 3 days I have gotten about 7 of these.
I have had Windows 10 + Hyperoo installed for years and have never had this problem.
I have also contacted Hyperoo and they say to disable the spool directory from Windows Defender locations.
I have never had to do that, so I wanted to check here first to make sure that there isn't another consideration here that I am overlooking before doing so ... mainly making sure that my machine isn't actually infected somehow.
I greatly appreciate any assistance you can lend here!
