Windows 11 Pre-installed Windows11 not working

I bought a new laptop last year. Everytime I try to use Windows 11, it brings up the screen about the product key. I enter the key and it says it doesn't recognize it. I got the product key from the hard drive search. I did get windows pre-installed from upgraded from 10 to 11. I check that the software is activated and still asks for the key and also it brings to a screen to purchase 365. Why buy a software when it was pre-installed. Another expense for a new laptop that I had to buy an external hard drive to download other software. Should I uninstall Windows 11 and use 10 instead. I just
