- From Wesley Lennon: you sent an answer, but I have not given up on replying to you when I attempted to reply, all it gives me on the reply, it a red circle with a diagonal line, therefore have been unable to answer your question. Have been trying on and off since I received an email reply from you. Since that day/week, I had been in contact with Microsoft Support by phone, it took three levels of Techs. Each of them installed Windows 10 Pro, though keeping my current files. The MS Tech's said my setup was correct
Dell XPS 8900 SE, which I customized from Dell:
i7 6700K - 64GB RAM
Nvidia GTX GeForce 1080
512GB M.2 Drive Primary SSD Drive w/2TB Main Drive w/7200 HDD
Installed a PCI-e M.2 riser card with NVMe w/ support for a 1 Terabyte Samsung 960 PRO Series - 1TB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD - V-NAND Client SSD ideal for high-performance tower desktops and small form factor PC’s. Sequential Read Speeds up to 3500MB/s and Sequential Write Speeds up to 2100MB/s
After setting BIOS to recognize the new Drive, I decided since nothing they tried using Remote Access to my Desktop, I performed a "Clean Install" after a back-up. I created a Log-in w/same email address for Windows Live, changed the password.
Although I had use of Internet throughout for Browsers, downloads and such, nothing we tried had worked to get Internet to the Windows Update, Store, or Outlook. The "Clean Install" worked to resolve my problem. I needed the App Store for a Ring Doorbell Pro, w/motion detection, which activates the program so I can see who's at the door, and for my 6 Security Cameras. Although it has it's own DVR and Monitor, it had an MS App to view the cams on my PC, as well as other MS Store Apps. I just wanted you to know that the problem is no longer pending.
Regards,
Wesley Lennon
