Foreword
I've been having browser problems for a very long time, a few years ago, I began having a problem with my previous computer that wouldn't open browsers, closing them immediately as they opened.
I have found some workarounds such as the Microsoft Edge and Brave browsers. However I do feel that I should have freedom to choose any browser I want to use.
Seeing that many, many people seem to be having this problem too. It may help to post my workaround, since none of the previous methods of fixing browsers seem to work for me.
Cause of my problems
It seems that the cause of my problem is the fact that all of the accounts on which I was trying to access a browser on, were connected to my Microsoft account (Windows 10).
These being local accounts that had logged into my Microsoft accounts due to all the nagging that Windows 10 does when you haven't 'completed setting up your computer'
Solution
I have been able to fix this issue once. If you create a separate local account, on which you do not log in to your Microsoft account, the problem should go away (If no other solutions work).
There are multiple videos on how to create a new local account on a windows pc, so I don't feel I need to go through it.
Issues
I feel as if this problem shouldn't happen in the first place. If anyone can help me avoid the solution above, please give me suggestions, I can think of no logical reason as to why I can run anything I want on my computer, except the browsers I want to use.
TL/DR
My browsers do not work, my solution is to create a new local account on Windows 10 + Never sign into my Microsoft account on any computer.
