Windows 7 Product Key for my Windows 7 is not being accepted due to it being an Upgrade

My Product Key cant be activated due to it being an Upgrade bundle I do not have any windows before Windows 7 and if I did it would not be supported

on my new build Computer as Windows XP would not work with a SSD 1tb drive. Help as I need to activate Windows 7.
