The problem started when we would try to print a document, it would freeze/lock up the program we were using. Eventually I figured out that if I stopped or restarted the printer spooler service the programs would unfreeze. One trip to Microcenter for a full diagnostic. $300, New RAM, and Virus Software.. the problem still exists.What has been tried...-restart spooler-delete files in windows/system32/spool/PRINTERS-ran sfc check (no issues)-removed all printers from device list-ran printer troubleshooter (sticks at Spooler SVCS check)-tried one of my printers (could not complete installation)
