On or about November 10, I downloaded and installed the latest update for Windows 10. Even on a fast computer it took a very long time.
On November 11. I download some new software only to find it would not launch. I would get an hourglass which would eventually disappear, and nothing else would happen. I have since found it sitting in Task Manager. Every launch created another hung application.
I assumed the problem was due to the new software, unfortunately, it does not seem to be the case. After spending several hours on help from Dell and Topaz Labs, attempting to load Adobe or Topaz software some will not launch at all, while others will still only launch if Run as Administrator.
Previously, I never had to run any of the programs as Administrator.
How can I resolve this?
