Windows 10 Ram Problem

I Have Laptops Asus a407m, it’s running on windows 10 64bit and only have one slot ram it’s 4gb ram, and then I upgraded my laptop use new SSD and ram 8gb (my laptops support that ram) before i install new windows on my laptop it’s read 8gb but after I’m install new windows on ssd It’s only read on my laptop just 4gb ram the weird is my laptop can turn on and normally run
