Windows 11 Realtek audio device gone in Device Manager, no sound

The Realtek audio device has vanished from the device manager, no sound, and the "fix" is to install the device. Here's what I've done so far. SFC and DISMHP diagnosticsBIOS is up to dateInstall legacy hardware which only brings up the blue window.Tried reinstalling the Realtek audio drivers, they'd unpack, but not install.Rolled back the latest Win 11 update from MSTried System Restore, which wouldn't complete. In looking for fixes, this problem seems to be common, but not a lot of good fixes.
