Hi there need explanation for a recent (50) auto downloads to my system of 'Intel- other hardware' downloads to my Computer running Win 10 Version 1903?
The downloads basically refer to Intel Xeon Processor but I'm not running a Xeon Processor, but an Intel Core i7 6900k CPU?
An example of one of the downloads here: 'Intel-other hardware-Intel (R) Xeon (R) E7 v4/ Xeon (R) E5 v4 /Xeon (R) E3 v4 /Xeon (R) D Caching Agent- 6F F E'
I have checked with Intel.com and was advised that there are no recent compatibility Updates there for Win 10 Version 1903 running OS Win 10 Home
Looking at the 50 updates it appears that the majority of the Updates refer to drivers, power usage, memory control, caching agent, Home Agent and Global Broadcast, to mention just a few of the different downloads.
I was very surprised when these 50 Intel Xeon Updates were being installed to my Computer! My Computer is running OK so far without any issues after the strange variety of Updates related to the Intel Xeon Processor!
Any explanation would be appreciated indeed.
Regards George
