Windows 10 Remote Desktop for Mac (now Windows App v11) -- Shift and Alt Keys don't work. But They Work Thru Other Connections to the PC

Mac OS Sonoma 14.6.1Windows App (replaced Remote Desktop) 11.0.5Problem: When connecting to a Windows PC (which is running Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 10.0.17763),the shift keys and Alt keys do not work normally. Alt keys cannot access application menus unless there is a pause between pushing them and the paired keyboard key. Example: Alt-F-S is normally one smooth movement. But I have to press Alt and wait for the commands to be highlighted and they proceed with the remainder of the command sequence. Otherwise I get a cursive f appearing at the cursor: ƒI br
