We are utilizing a hosted Exchange server. The user initially had an issue that items were randomly being stuck in the Outbox despite not have any attachments. I've remade the profile, reinstalled office, ran windows updates, reduced how much mail gets saved onto the machine, and even downgraded the version of office. It happened until the user received the error, 0x80040115. I added the owa address to the Host file on the affected machine and since then haven't had anything stuck in the outbox anymore.
